CISUC

The Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra (CISUC) is a large Portuguese research centre in the fields of Informatics and Communications, which was created in 1991 under the Program Science. CISUC aims at carrying out original R&D at a pre-competitive level, training highly qualified young researchers, co-operating in national and international projects and programs, and promoting the dissemination of results by means of contracts with different companies.

MIR toolbox

MIRtoolbox offers an integrated set of functions written in Matlab, dedicated to the extraction from audio files of musical features such as tonality, rhythm, structures, etc. The objective is to offer an overview of computational approaches in the area of Music Information Retrieval.

 
MIREX

The Music Information Retrieval Evaluation eXchange (MIREX) is an annual evaluation campaign for Music Information Retrieval (MIR) algorithms, coupled to the International Society (and Conference) for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR). MIREX is hosted by the International Music Information Retrieval Systems Evaluation Laboratory (IMIRSEL) at the Graduate School of Library Information Sciences (GSLIS) which is part of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
